St. Joseph Preschool and After School Care (502) 583-4607 The St. Joseph Preschool Program is dedicated to the growth and success of the whole child, spiritual, emotional, physical, and intellectual. We provide a stimulating environment with encouraging, patient teachers in a positive relaxed atmosphere. St. Joseph Preschool and After School Care is a State Licensed. Facility, and admit students of any race, color, national, or ethic origin. The Preschool Program is setup with a small teacher/child ratio to better serve your child. All children entering the three year-old program must be three before October 1st. Children entering the four year-old program must be four before October 1st. We do require for the children be potty trained because of all the activities we do. · Preschool Staff St. Joseph Parish Preschool has professional teachers to lead both our classes. The staff members are full-time and have been employed with our facility for more than 10 years. All preschool staff is required each year to complete 15 CDA credential hours, be certified in First Aid and CPR. · School Tour Information Please Contact Preschool Director, Ellen Jaggers (502) 583-4607 to make arrangements. We do have an open door policy but if you would like to talk to a teacher we need to make arrangements to make sure the teacher has ample time with you and the class will not be disturbed. · Enrollment Please Contact Preschool Director, Ellen Jaggers (502) 583-4607. You will receive the Enrollment Form, Medical History Form, and Emergency Medical Treatment Authorization Form. All forms need to be filled out completely and returned to St. Joseph Preschool with a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee and a Current Immunization Certificate that is up-to-date before a child may start our program. This is a State Regulation and we are unable to make exceptions. · Preschool Hours & Tuition 7am - 4pm Monday through Friday $110.00 (weekly fee) 4pm - 6pm Monday through Friday $5.00 (per hour after 4pm) We accept 4'C Contracts · After School Care We accept children into our After School Program from preschool - 8th grade. Assumption High School is a local all girl high school and they have a program that our center benefits from. Every February two sophomore girls will come to our facility once a week for 10 weeks to assist our teachers. The young ladies are treated as Teacher Assistants and will be graded on by our staff. They will interact with your child and by the end of the 10 weeks the young ladies will have to plan a special activity for the children to enjoy. Each high school assistant will have all volunteer forms and shots current before they may volunteer at our center.
